We are currently recruiting a Communications Consultant on behalf of our client, a global healthcare leader with a significant manufacturing presence in Ireland.
The Role
This position will support the Donegal site in delivering purposeful, engaging internal communications that strengthen employee engagement, connection, and sense of belonging.
The successful candidate will develop and execute a robust internal communications strategy, working closely with site leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure clear, consistent, and impactful messaging across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the execution of internal communications strategies, objectives, and programmes for the site
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve internal communication plans and channels
- Create high-quality internal communications that align organisational vision, mission, and objectives
- Act as a trusted communications partner to cross-functional stakeholders, ensuring clarity and consistency of messaging
- Develop and maintain key communication materials and platforms
- Champion internal branding, governance, and messaging standards
- Coordinate internal meetings and events, including All Employee Meetings and Quarterly Updates
- Align internal communications with external messaging where appropriate
- Support site-wide programmes, projects, and change initiatives through effective communications
Requirements
- Third-level qualification in Communications, Marketing, or a related discipline
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in an internal communications or similar role
- Experience working in a complex or regulated environment (e.g. manufacturing, MedTech, pharma) is highly desirable
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality communications
