We are seeking a Site Engineer to join our client's team for a high-profile civil infrastructure project in Donegal.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the management and supervision of the construction site to ensure the project is completed on time and within budget.
- Perform daily site inspections, ensuring that work is carried out in compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth site operations.
- Monitor and report on progress, providing updates to the Project Manager.
- Ensure all work is documented, and maintain accurate site records, including daily logs, progress reports, and measurements.
- Help with the preparation and review of risk assessments, method statements, and health and safety plans.
- Interpret and implement design drawings and technical specifications on-site.
- Resolve any site-related issues or challenges promptly to minimize delays and ensure project continuity.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- At least 2 years of experience as a Site Engineer, preferably with experience in roadworks, utilities, or other civil works.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations and best practices on construction sites.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Full driving license and flexibility to work at different site locations as required.
- Health and safety qualifications (e.g., Safe Pass)
