Automation Engineer

Join a leading biopharmaceutical manufacturing site as an Automation Engineer, supporting complex production systems and driving continuous improvement across PLC, SCADA, and DCS platforms. This hands-on role balances technical problem-solving with collaboration across Manufacturing, Engineering, and EHS teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide daily support for automation systems (PLC/SCADA/DCS), including troubleshooting and code updates.
• Support system integrations with MES and data historians (e.g., PI).
• Manage system backups, access control, and compliance documentation.
• Assist in commissioning, qualification, and rollout of new automation projects.
• Develop SOPs, training materials, and contribute to a culture of safety and data integrity.
• Ensure all activities align with cGMP, EHS, and regulatory standards.

About You

• Degree in Automation, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline.
• 2-5 years of automation/control systems experience.
• Familiarity with Yokogawa Centum VP, Siemens S7/TIA Portal, or Wonderware preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and project execution skills.
• Team-oriented with the initiative to work independently when needed.
