Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the credit control inbox, addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring timely responses to queries.
* Issue Proof of Deliveries (PODs) and maintain accurate records for deliveries, payments, and supporting documentation.
* Process daily cash applications, credit card payments, and other payments, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.
* Assist in the opening of new client accounts, ensuring all necessary documentation is obtained, verified, and entered into the system.
* Monitor and follow up on overdue accounts, coordinating with customers to arrange payments and resolve outstanding issues.
* Collaborate closely with the finance team to reconcile accounts, ensuring accuracy and consistency of financial records.
* Maintain and update customer credit limits, reviewing account histories and making recommendations for adjustments as needed.
* Work with internal teams to identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to credit control and accounts receivable, ensuring smooth operations across departments.
What We're Looking For:
* Minimum 1 year of Credit Control experience (or similar experience in finance/accounts).
* Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
