An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Credit Controller to join a leading international company in a newly established division. This role reports to the Lead Credit Controller for the EMEA region and plays a key role in enhancing the Finance & Controlling team.

- Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
- Contract Type: Permanent
- Hybrid working model: 3 days in office per week (after probation period)
- Benefits: Pension Plan & 20 days annual leave (increases 1 day per year with service (up to 4 days))
- Salary: €40,000 - €45,000
Key Responsibilities:
- Collections and Account Management:
- Make daily collection calls to address unpaid account balances.
- Maintain and update credit history files, ensuring all activities are well-documented.
- Perform account and payment reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
- Credit Risk Analysis:
- Assess the creditworthiness of clients using external credit risk management tools and reports.
- Review new customer accounts, setting appropriate credit terms and limits.
- Analyze accounts to determine potential risk and financial exposure.
- Customer and Stakeholder Liaison:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring timely payments and resolving queries.
- Collaborate with local operations and shared service centres to address and resolve customer issues.
- Reporting and Monitoring:
- Produce and present weekly aging reports to management, highlighting key insights and trends.
- Monitor accounts for potential bad debt, taking proactive measures to minimize financial risk.
Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a credit control role with an operational focus.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with experience liaising with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
- High attention to detail, with proven accuracy in managing and reconciling accounts.
- Experience with SAP and Oracle systems is desirable.
