We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Payroll Specialist with a leading Engineering multinational based in North Co. Dublin.

Salary is DOE: €45,000 - €60,000
You will be responsible for processing end to end payroll for the Irish operations on a monthly basis. We are looking for someone who takes pride in offering a first in class service for staff payroll.
Core Responsibilities:
- Ownership of IRL payroll on a monthly basis on an end-to-end basis
- Accurately process payroll for all employees, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Maintain and update employee payroll records, including changes in exemptions, insurance coverage, savings deductions, and job titles.
- Calculate and process deductions such as taxes, benefits, and garnishments.
- Prepare and distribute payroll reports to relevant departments.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, and related issues.
- Coordinate with HR and finance departments to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in payroll laws and regulations.
- Assist with year-end payroll processing, including issuing W-2s and other required tax forms.
- Process payroll through payroll system.
- Review of project agreements and change order agreements so that PMs can update their projects financially through the ERP system.
- Assisting with the processing and payment of supplier invoices.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee payroll information.
Qualifications & Experience:
- IPASS payroll qualification is advantageous
- Minimum of 2-6 years experience of end to end Irish payroll process within a large organisation is essential
- In-depth knowledge of payroll principles, laws, and best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
