Responsibilities:
- Support the finance team in preparing monthly management accounts and balance sheets
- Perform stock and balance sheet reconciliations
- Assist with the preparation of monthly accounts and ad-hoc reports for management
- Raise invoices and manage billing processes (weekly/monthly)
- Handle deferred and accrued revenue, logistics accruals, and intercompany transactions
- Support the audit process and complete other ad-hoc financial tasks
- Regular communication with internal and external business partners
Skills Required:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a financial role, preferably in FMCG or retail
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to handle large volumes of data under pressure
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proactive and solution-focused mindset
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (pivot tables, macros)
- Experience with D365 is a plus
- Interest in pursuing or currently studying for an accountancy qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA)
