Our client is a leading retail bank with Headquarters based in Dublin City Centre. They are seeking a new Finance Systems Manager on a full time, permanent basis. This role will drive continuous improvement in a recently implemented EPM system, while collaborating with senior leadership, and supporting key financial planning processes within the bank.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of the new EPM system to meet financial strategy objectives. Continuously improve forecasting and financial systems.
- Develop and promote best practices for using the EPM across the finance function and other departments.
- Create business models that support financial strategy and business decisions.
- Contribute to the Bank's annual budget, forecasts, and strategic planning processes.
- Ensure proper controls for the EPM system integration, meeting regulatory and internal requirements.
- Lead and motivate a small team, foster a high-performance culture, and promote ongoing development.
- Work closely with other departments e.g. credit and risk, to ensure alignment on financial planning and regulatory needs.
Requirements:
- Qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA
- Circa 5+ years PQE with experience in a similar role.
- Strong working knowledge/implementation of ERP/EPM software.
- Experience within the banking/financial services sector.
- Strong communication and project management skills.
- Ability to lead teams and manage multiple initiatives.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
