Reporting Manager: Head of Fleet
Job Purpose: The Direct Fleet Account Manager plays a vital role in achieving our commercial objectives, focusing on the retention, growth, and profitability of our fleet business. This role demands a highly motivated candidate, dedicated to customer retention and expansion, and possessing the ability to build and nurture valuable relationships with key stakeholders within each assigned account. The successful applicant will need to develop an in-depth understanding of our customers' businesses, industries, and challenges, with a primary goal of becoming their trusted fleet advisor. This position is well-suited to individuals who are self-driven to meet challenging yet rewarding monthly business targets. We seek someone with exceptional relationship-building and consultative sales skills, aiming for successful results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing fleet customers through outstanding customer service, addressing their needs, and ensuring ongoing satisfaction.
- Maximize customer retention through continuous advice and effective contract renewal negotiations.
- Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales & renewal targets, along with other performance metrics.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of our products and services to effectively communicate their benefits to our customers.
- Conduct meetings as necessary with your customers, compile reports as needed, and ensure the satisfaction of existing customers.
- Negotiate and finalize deals with customers, ensuring mutually beneficial terms that align with company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, client interactions, and contracts.
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitors to inform your sales strategy.
Job Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in vehicle leasing and/or account management.
- APA Loans or QFA qualification is a distinct advantage
- The successful candidate must be prepared to undertake and pass the APA exams upon appointment.
- Strong knowledge of the Irish fleet market, including key companies, trends, and regulations.
- Results-oriented with a focus on achieving and surpassing targets.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Possession of a full, clean driving license.
