We have partnered exclusively with a client in Dublin 24, who are seeking a Senior Human Resources Manager who will report directly to the Managing Director, and play a crucial role in aligning the Human Resources strategy with the overall business goals.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing expert HR services and acting as a consultant to both management and staff, ensuring that the business objectives are met while fostering a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic HR Planning: Analyze the HR implications of business goals and create actionable plans to support their successful implementation.
- Employee Relations: Serve as a liaison between management and employees by addressing queries, resolving workplace issues, and ensuring clear communication channels.
- Coaching & Leadership Development: Provide coaching to managers and staff to improve performance, encourage professional growth, and build a collaborative work culture.
- Payroll Administration: Oversee the payroll process, ensuring that salaries and benefits are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Recruitment & Onboarding: Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including job advertisements, interview processes, offer letters, contracts, and new employee orientation.
- HR Reporting & Analytics: Provide weekly reports on staff turnover, absenteeism, new hires, and other HR metrics, and present insights to the management team to drive decision-making.
- Workforce Planning: Track and manage headcount to ensure the right number of staff is in place to meet operational demands.
- Performance Management: Manage the performance appraisal system, working with the Training Manager to identify employee development needs and help shape training programs to address skill gaps.
- Change Management: Lead and manage the HR aspects of change management processes, ensuring smooth transitions during organizational changes.
- Union Relations: Participate in union meetings and negotiations, ensuring effective communication and agreements that benefit both staff and the organization.
- Staff Retention: Develop and manage staff retention strategies, aiming to increase employee satisfaction, loyalty, and long-term retention.
Experience:
- A proactive and strategic HR leader who is capable of balancing operational needs with employee welfare
- Self starter, who will bring new ideas to the organisation
- Strong ER/IR experience who is confident representing an organisation at the WRC
