Job Title: Technology In-House Counsel - Commercial Contracts

We are seeking an experienced and commercially savvy In-House Counsel to join a fast-paced, dynamic organization in the financial technology sector. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide actionable legal advice aligned with strategic business objectives.
- Draft and negotiate software license agreements and other commercial contracts.
- Advise senior executives on all aspects of the company's commercial relationships.
- Assist in the resolution of contentious matters and implement best practices in risk management.
- Develop familiarity with commercial law across multiple jurisdictions where the company operates.
- Embrace and implement lean management principles for efficient legal service delivery.
Requirements:
- Qualified solicitor, barrister, or attorney with a minimum of 3.5/4 years' post-qualification experience in a common law jurisdiction.
- Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly to non-legal professionals.
- Strong commercial acumen and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Proficient in managing and maintaining legal document templates and processes.
- Fluent in English, with excellent written and verbal skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in international M&A transactions.
- Previous experience in the legal department of a multinational corporation.
- Expertise in intellectual property (IP) and information technology (IT) law.
