Our client, a well-known company in the FMCG sector, is seeking an Interim Finance Manager for a 6-month contract. Based in Dublin West with a hybrid option of 2-3 days working from home, this role supports the Procurement team within the Supply Chain Finance function. The successful candidate will focus on budgeting, forecasting, process improvements, and delivering key financial insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide interim support by taking responsibility for the year-end process, as well as assisting with budgeting and forecasting tasks.
- Collaborate with Procurement leads to provide accurate monthly forecasting and analysis to support decision-making.
- Offer financial expertise to the Procurement team to help execute procurement strategies effectively.
- Develop and enhance forecasting tools and dashboards using platforms like Power BI and Anaplan.
- Conduct industry trend analysis to identify opportunities, reduce risks, and maintain supply continuity.
- Prepare reports and analysis for forecasting and monthly reviews with leadership teams.
Requirements:
- Qualified Accountant with 4+ years of relevant experience.
- Strong background in budgeting, forecasting, procurement finance, and financial modelling.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SAP, Power BI, PowerPoint, and Anaplan.
- Experience with financial planning and reporting platforms (e.g., SAP, IBM Planning Analytics).
