Legal Executive

We are working with a well-known Irish organisation in the media and entertainment industry who are seeking an experienced Legal Executive to join their team on an initial 12 month fixed-term contract (possbility of extension depending on internal factors).

The successful candidate will be joining an in-house legal team who support the wider organisation on all legal matters, specifically in litigation, employment and defamation cases.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced legal executive who wants to work in a busy and challenging environment in the entertainment industry. It might also be suitable for an NQ solicitor who is looking to pivot into media law.

Responsibilities:

• Support the wider legal team of 10 solicitors on all admin duties
• Prepare weekly reports for senior leadership
• Manage confidential data accordingly
• Liaise with contacts outside your team, both internally and externally
• Manage and prepare insurance reports for personal injury cases
• Assist with preparing budgets and other financial matters

The Ideal Candidate:

• Minimum 2 years experience as a Legal Executive, either in-house or in a law firm
• Experience working on a high volume of litigation and commercial matters
• A law degree
• Industry experience is desirable but not mandatory
