About the Role:
Our Client are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Paraplanning Manager to join their team. Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership & Management: Help build and lead the paraplanning team, working closely with Financial Planners to ensure the team provides high-quality, efficient support.
- Objective Achievement: Work alongside the Head of Financial Planning to achieve departmental and company objectives, with a strong focus on managing and motivating the paraplanning team to meet specific goals.
- Process Development: Design and implement effective processes that improve productivity and ensure full compliance within the Planning Team. Continuously evaluate and refine processes to maintain excellence in service delivery.
- Interdepartmental Communication: Foster clear and consistent communication between the paraplanning and planning teams, ensuring alignment on strategies and objectives across the business.
- Training & Development: Contribute to the ongoing development of the planning team by identifying training opportunities, organizing professional development initiatives, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
- Client Interaction: Conduct client meetings (both new and existing) and provide exceptional relationship management. You will play a key role in building and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Quality Control: Ensure consistency and high standards of work across the planning team, striving to create a centre of excellence for financial planning.
- Financial Planning Support: Build comprehensive financial plans using our cash flow modelling system, providing clients with reports following meetings to outline agreed-upon strategies and solutions.
Skills and Experience:
- Leadership Experience: Proven experience in managing and leading a team to successfully achieve company objectives. Ability to inspire and motivate your team.
- Technical Proficiency: Experience using financial planning software, particularly Voyant and Wealthtrack, would be a distinct advantage.
- Problem-Solving Mindset: Demonstrated ability to quickly understand and embrace new processes and challenges, offering practical solutions.
- Relationship Building: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop productive working relationships with Financial Planners and Paraplanners, offering support and guidance as needed.
- Attention to Detail: Analytical and detail-oriented with the ability to review and ensure the quality of financial plans and reports.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly present complex information to both clients and internal stakeholders.
