Our client, a leading European asset servicing firm, are seeking to add a Senior Depository Control Analyst to their growing team. The successful candidate will act as Depository to Irish regulated funds in accordance with the Central Bank AIFMD/UCITS Regulations (the "Regulations"), guidance notes and fund documentation: act independently and solely in the interest of the shareholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review UCITS and AIF funds investment compliance, within department defined timelines, to ensure that they comply with the Regulations and prospectus/supplement restrictions.
- Review the fund's key NAV processes, within department defined timelines, to ensure they have been completed accurately by the Fund Administrator and in accordance with the Regulations and the fund's prospectus/supplement.
- Review shareholder trade processing and controls/procedures in the Transfer Agency department.
- Perform daily AIF and UCITS cash flow monitoring controls and investigate any anomalous transactions.
- Ensure logs of risks, breaches, pricing errors, transfer agency errors and operational incidents are accurate and up to date.
- Ensure fund fees (including performance and distribution fees) and expenses are reasonable and accurate.
- Identify, investigate and resolve issues in a prompt manner and ensure all issues are escalated to line managers.
- Assist management with the collation of data for key performance indicators and routine internal depository reporting and when required, and assist with the preparation of the reporting for management review.
- Assist colleagues as required.
Requirements:
- The candidate should have a minimum of five years' experience in the area of Depository.
- Irish UCITS and AIFMD regulations and / or legal documentation relevant to funds.
- Compliance Monitoring Systems knowledge and experience required.
- Excellent PC literacy including Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint.
- Third level business or legal qualification desirable.
- Good client service skills.
- Attention to detail and good analytical skills required.
- Good time management skills.
