We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Part Qualified Accountant for an exciting opportunity. In this role, you will support the financial and auditing functions of the organisation. This is a 6-month contract, and you will have ample opportunity to gain further experience supporting the senior accountant with month end close and financial reporting as well as day to day accounting activities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing annual financial statements and monthly management accounts.
- Prepare reconciliations for bank, balance sheet, and PSWT.
- Support the internal audit function and respond to queries raised by auditors.
- Oversee financial functions in compliance with relevant guidelines and regulations.
- Support the financial reporting process, including working with internal and external auditors.
- Help develop and implement financial systems, ensuring smooth integration with existing tools.
- Manage the preparation of working papers and audit files for external review.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Part/Qualified Accountant or relevant experience (ACCA, ACA, or CIMA).
- A third-level qualification, preferably in business, finance, accountancy, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-6 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
- Strong skills in financial reporting and account reconciliations.
- Proficiency in using financial systems and report analysis.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A proactive approach with problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail.
- Hands on experience assisting in the preparation of both monthly and annual Management Accounts, contributing to key financial insights and decision-making.
- Experience supporting the preparation of Financial Accounts and dealing with external and internal audit.
- Experience in the healthcare sector or public sector environments is desirable.
