Are you an experienced Supply Planning professional looking for a new challenge in a dynamic and fast-paced environment? We are seeking a Supply Planning Manager to join our client's team in Dublin, where you will play a critical role in ensuring efficient supply chain operations.
As the Supply Planning Manager, you will be responsible for managing supply planning activities, ensuring product availability, and optimizing inventory levels to meet business demands. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, logistics, and sales, to develop and execute effective supply strategies.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Develop and implement supply planning strategies to meet demand forecasts while optimizing inventory levels.
- Partner closely with demand planners, procurement teams, production planners, and logistics teams to align supply plans with sales forecasts and customer demands.
- Analyze inventory data to identify excess, obsolete, or slow-moving stock and implement corrective actions to optimize working capital.
- Manage supplier relationships, monitor production schedules, and ensure on-time delivery of materials. Provide timely updates on supply constraints and negotiate solutions when necessary.
- Track and analyze KPIs related to service levels, inventory turnover, forecast accuracy, and supplier performance. Provide regular reports and actionable insights.
- Lead initiatives to enhance supply planning processes, implementing best practices and leveraging data-driven decision-making to optimize performance.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of supply planners, providing guidance, performance feedback, and professional development opportunities to foster a high-performing and motivated team.
Key Requirements:
- 5+ years' experience in supply planning, demand planning, or supply chain management at a management level.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data for decision-making.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working with ERP and supply planning systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
