This role is with a valued client of Morgan McKinley. This role presents a unique opportunity to lead out on a new transformation project. This role will play a critical part in driving a key strategic project that will underpin , strengthen and future proof the existing business model.
The transformation of the business model will require material changes in the current database and related systems, processes and workflows in relation to business activities.
This role will be responsible for leading this key strategic project for our client, by implementing a cost-effective operation, meeting commercial objectives and implementing a future proofed strategy that delivers high quality customer service.
Responsibilities
The principal responsibilities associated with this role include, but are not limited to the following:
- Lead the management of the team including full P&L responsibility.
- Develop a transformation strategy to re-position the business model as a viable commercial and efficient operation based on the "to be" collection model as determined by key stakeholders.
- Lead, motivate and develop a large team to execute the operational transformation strategy and achieve sales targets.
- Lead planning and performance management, maximising sales and service performance to enable the achievement of sales targets.
- Maximise sales volume through the most cost effective channel within the suite of payment options across our client's organisation.
- Develop and implement a long term technology roadmap within the business unit.
- Manage the day to day operations of the collections business including but not limited to; managing a multi-functional team, tight cost control, licence sales, media queries, with management oversight on central system and website.
- Manage the strategic, commercial and operational relationships with multiple external stakeholders.
- Provide regular Management Information Systems reporting to key stakeholders.
- Demonstrate positive values and behaviours in day to day work and address behaviour that supports/conflicts with these.
Qualifications
- You will have 3+ years' experience in leading an operations unit with full P&L responsibility, have proven ability to think strategically and lead a large team. A third level relevant qualification in a business-related field is desirable.
- Critical to this role is experience in change and transformation achieving demonstrable results in improving operational effectiveness by re-designing & enhancing processes and implementing innovative changes while maintaining a highly motivated work environment. You will have experience in working with senior stakeholders and navigating through changing priorities.
- As a strong leader, you will have the ability to communicate, influence and gain buy-in to enable your teams to understand their role in delivering the business strategy and ensuring that they are future focused, engaged, committed and driven to meet goals and objectives. Strong organisational skills are critical to monitor progress against KPI's and address potential challenges or issues.
Please note: While the role is based in Dublin, the role could involve some travelling to other local offices to facilitate meetings.
