Morgan McKinley have partnered with one of Ireland's leading catering equipment businesses who are seeking a driven and enthusiastic Area Sales Manager to oversee and develop their customer base across the Munster region, including Galway.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing an assigned portfolio of accounts while actively pursuing new business opportunities within your territory. Your goal is to ensure that customers are fully informed about the full range of products and services available within an extensive portfolio.
Benefits:
- Base Salary: €52,000 to €55,000 (Negotiable - Depending on Experience)

Key Responsibilities:
- Take full ownership of sales and margin targets for your designated area.
- Regularly visit customers to ensure they are up-to-date on the latest offers and products.
- Maintain ongoing communication with key stakeholders at all levels, using phone, email, and in-person visits.
- Focus on accounts underperforming in sales and implement strategies to drive success.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including project sales and new customer openings, to meet profit targets.
Skills and Experience:
- Proven field sales experience, ideally with a consultative sales approach.
- Flexibility to travel, including occasional overnight stays, depending on your location.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Energetic, hardworking, and goal-driven with a commitment to achieving sales targets.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to company working methods.
- Previous experience in the Irish foodservice market is a plus, but not a requirement.
