Roles and Responsibilities
* Perform daily and quarterly accounting tasks, including bank reconciliations, cash reporting, and disbursement processing.
* Prepare and submit journal entries into cloud-based accounting systems.
* Assist in the preparation of GAAP-compliant financial statements.
* Generate and review workpapers for fund products within the reporting cycle.
* Support the preparation of capital calls, distributions, and allocations.
* Respond to ad-hoc investor inquiries promptly and accurately.
* Assist with client and investor communication.
* Work closely with internal teams and external auditors during reporting cycles.
* Ensure compliance with industry standards, controls, and company policies.
Job Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field, with accountancy qualification or progress toward one considered a plus.
* 2+ year of experience in fund accounting, private fund administration, or financial services.
* Familiarity with GAAP financial reporting is advantageous
* Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and cloud-based accounting software.
* Detail-oriented, analytical, and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
* Collaborative and results-driven, with strong communication skills, integrity, and a proactive problem-solving mindset.
