Position: Forklift Operator - Meath
Hourly Rate: €17.50
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Location: Dunboyne

We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Forklift Operator to join our busy team in Meath. This role involves the safe and efficient operation of forklifts in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will have proven forklift experience and hold a valid forklift license.
Key Responsibilities:

Operate forklifts safely and efficiently, in compliance with all health and safety regulations.

Load and unload goods from trucks or delivery vehicles, ensuring secure handling to avoid damage.

Transport and organize materials within the warehouse or production areas.

Perform routine checks and basic maintenance of forklifts; report any faults or required repairs.

Accurately track inventory movement and assist in regular stock checks.

Comply with company policies, especially regarding the handling of hazardous materials (if applicable).

Work collaboratively with team members to prioritize tasks and communicate effectively with supervisors.

Support general warehouse duties such as packing, labeling, sorting, and maintaining a clean workspace.
Key Requirements:

Valid Reach and Counterbalance forklift licenses.

Proven experience operating forklifts, preferably in a warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics environment.

Strong spatial awareness and coordination to handle goods safely and efficiently.

Ability to manage and organize stock accurately.

Effective communication skills and a proactive team player.

Legal entitlement to work in Ireland (EU citizenship, valid residency, or work permit).
