Morgan McKinley is proud to partner with a leading cork based pharmaceutical manufacturer who is seeking a Project Engineer "Packaging" for an hourly rate long term contact.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in the pharmaceutical industry delivering high profile equipment projects to enhance and upgrade packaging areas within a GMP environment. You will be highly self-driven and passionate about end to end project management partnering with various internal and external stakeholders/vendors. This contract will offer a competitive rate, long term prospects and opportunity to work in a dynamic team.
Required
- Degree in engineering or similar, PM qualification desired but not essential
- Minimum of 8 years experience in Project management in the Pharmaceutical and GMP industry.
- Previous experience executing pharmaceutical industry Capital Projects.
- Proven successful track record with end to end full project lifecycle projects,including management of environmental, H&S specific to the pharmaceutical industry with GMP
- Proficiency with PM process, programming, scope development, design, implementation and project closeout.
The Role
- Select and manage vendors to develop equipment solutions for packaging and engineering users
- Manage capital budget and spend
- Execute the design, procurement, construction, commissioning and qualification for end to end project delivery.
- Lead /partner with internal and external project teams
- Work closely with stakeholders to ensure efficient scheduling and costing
- Complete accountability for project changes to ensure all documentation and reporting is accurate.
- Responsible for weekly/bi weekly reporting to stakeholders.
