The Role
In this role, you will provide legal guidance across employment law, data protection, compliance, risk management, and commercial property transactions. You'll work closely with our HR and specialist teams, contributing legal insights and compliance expertise to support key strategic initiatives.

- Qualified in law, ideally as a solicitor, with a keen interest in HR and employment law.
Key Responsibilities:
Employment Law
- Advise HR and internal teams on employment issues, preparing and reviewing employment documents, contracts, and policies.
- Identify and mitigate legal risks, supporting compliance in corporate transactions and due diligence.
- Develop and deliver training on employment-related legal matters for employees.
Data Protection
- Oversee data protection frameworks to ensure compliance with data protection laws and GDPR.
- Provide guidance on privacy implications across business units, including HR and marketing.
- Conduct data protection risk assessments and participate in planning discussions to integrate privacy into business strategies.
Risk Management and Compliance
- Promote risk and compliance best practices, including drafting and reviewing policies, NDAs, and commercial agreements.
- Oversee AML, business acceptance, and conflict resolution measures, contributing to corporate governance strategies.
- Manage the firm's risk register and ensure adherence to ethical standards and regulatory requirements.
Commercial Property
- Support property transactions, drafting and reviewing contracts, leases, and other property-related legal documents.
- Advise on statutory compliance across planning, zoning, environmental, and health regulations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to address risk in property matters, manage disputes, and liaise with external counsel when necessary.
Mergers & Acquisitions
- Lead legal assessments of M&A transactions, guiding due diligence and providing insight into compliance issues.
- Structure, negotiate, and draft key agreements, supporting integration and ensuring post-transaction regulatory compliance.
