A leading global travel management company is seeking an Operations Leader in Japan o drive client satisfaction, enhance team efficiency, and support the General Manager in meeting key business objectives.
Roles/Responsibilities
- Manage operations teams, providing guidance to meet targets and service standards.
- Drive efficiency improvements across operations and maintain high productivity.
- Oversee client relationships, handle escalations, and participate in client presentations.
- Collaborate with the General Manager on budget management and strategic initiatives.
- Mentor team leads, support team development, and facilitate team and client meetings.
Required skills
- 3+ years of experience managing a team of at least five people.
- 10+ years in travel operations, with knowledge of GDS and industry systems.
- Strong business understanding, with basic knowledge of financial management.
- A proactive leader focused on continuous improvement and team motivation.
- Fluent in Japanese and English.
