My Advice

If you're just starting out in recruitment, I suggest you thoroughly research the role’s responsibilities and understand the differences between agency recruitment and in-house recruitment. Each of these paths has unique characteristics, so it’s crucial to find the one that aligns best with your career goals and interests.
When applying for an agency recruitment role in particular, make sure you have a compelling reason for your interest since this is a sales-focused position.
A well-prepared interview and a clear passion for the recruitment field will help you stand out and demonstrate your commitment to this career path.

My Background

Originally from Italy, I spent a few years living and working in Dublin, Ireland, before moving to Japan at the end of 2015. I joined Morgan McKinley initially to handle Talent Acquisition and Learning & Development, drawing on my background in teaching and nearly six years of experience in agency recruitment. Since 2023, my role has shifted to focus exclusively on hiring for our APAC offices.
