As a BSS Bilingual Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in large-scale telecom and BSS (Business Support Systems) projects. You will lead requirement analysis, design, and validation of complex business applications, ensuring seamless integration and supporting key digital transformation initiatives. Key Responsibilities
- Lead requirement analysis, design, and validation for complex business applications in telecom and digital transformation projects
- Facilitate technical discussions, elicit requirements, and document design specifications for cross-functional teams
- Drive issue resolution through stakeholder negotiation and collaboration across departments
- Analyze business and development specifications, conduct feasibility studies, and produce detailed documentation
- Support system architecture design, testing, and end-user training to ensure smooth deployment and adoption
- Monitor project progress, prepare reports, and assist in planning, risk assessment, and issue mitigation
- Engage with clients in Japan, providing expert guidance and support for BSS platforms, billing systems, and integration solutions
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- 2-9 years in business analysis, requirement gathering, and system design; senior candidates with higher experience are welcome
- Solid understanding of application servers, databases, APIs (REST/SOAP), and the software development lifecycle
- Exposure to telecom systems such as Billing, Provisioning, Order Management, Charging, or large-scale digital transformation projects
Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
Language Requirements
- Japanese: Business-level proficiency (JLPT N2+ required)
- English: Intermediate to Business level for client-facing communications and documentation
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with BSS platforms (Netcracker, Amdocs, Huawei, Ericsson)
- Knowledge of telecom standards (eTOM, ITIL) and revenue assurance processes
