Key Responsibilities
- Act as the team expert on in-licensed medical devices, pharmaceuticals, and cell therapies, assessing their impact on Japanese patients and clinicians.
- Conduct market research on epidemiology, treatment guidelines, pricing, competition, and market opportunities.
- Perform product positioning analysis in collaboration with technology originators and commercial partners.
- Work closely with regulatory and clinical affairs teams, providing market insights and aligning strategies.
- Support asset screening and validation, engaging with key opinion leaders (KOLs) to assess in-licensing opportunities.
- Develop strategic recommendations to enhance portfolio synergies and drive company value.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- University graduate with a background in pharmaceuticals, biotech, or medical devices.
- Expertise in product assessment for medical devices or pharmaceutical products.
- Fluent in Japanese (native level) and business-level English (spoken and written).
