As a DevOps Engineer, you will manage, deploy, and scale large-scale infrastructure using Kubernetes and modern CI/CD pipelines, ensuring smooth and reliable delivery across complex environments. Key Responsibilities
- Deploy and manage applications on large-scale Kubernetes clusters in a production environment
- Design and build CI/CD pipelines to automate deployments and operational workflows
- Troubleshoot deployment, pipeline, and environment issues in collaboration with Dev and QA teams
- Integrate and maintain monitoring systems using tools such as ELK, Prometheus, and Grafana
- Automate infrastructure provisioning with Terraform and Ansible to improve scalability and reliability
- Partner with stakeholders to define long-term infrastructure improvements and operational best practices
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- Strong hands-on expertise with Kubernetes and Docker in production environments
- Proven experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins and GitLab
- Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform and Ansible
- Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP or Azure
- Programming or scripting skills in Python, Golang, or Java
- Strong Linux and networking knowledge for system administration and troubleshooting
Soft Skills:
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills across engineering, QA, and stakeholders
- Strategic mindset to design scalable, future-proof infrastructure solutions
- Strong problem-solving skills with an analytical approach to complex system issues
- Ability to work effectively in a global, multicultural engineering team
Language Requirements:
- Japanese: Conversational
- English: Intermediate to Business level
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with Sensu monitoring
- Advanced knowledge of the ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana)
- Experience supporting internet-scale platforms with hundreds of millions of users
