As a Legal Specialist in a leading fintech and crypto asset company, you will provide governance, compliance, and contract support for both domestic and international business activities. This role requires expertise in corporate and financial law, with opportunities to work on cutting-edge projects in crypto regulation, AML, and blockchain law. You will collaborate closely with overseas offices, external counsel, and internal stakeholders, ensuring legal security and compliance in a rapidly evolving industry.
Provide legal support for domestic and international business activities
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, including cross-border agreements
Advise on compliance with crypto, financial, AML, and corporate laws
Support internal stakeholders with legal guidance and risk assessments
Handle disputes, litigation, and regulatory authority responses with external counsel
Manage group company governance frameworks and legal matters
Collaborate with overseas offices on cross-border legal projects
Minimum 3 years' legal experience in a corporate legal department or law firm
Experience in compliance, disputes, or litigation handling
Proven experience drafting or reviewing contracts in Japanese and English
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, global environment
Clear and confident communication with diverse stakeholders
Language Requirements
Japanese: Native level
English: Conversational/Business level
Attorney qualification in Japan or overseas
Experience in fintech, crypto assets, or financial services
Cross-border legal experience in multinational environments
