Working closely with senior stakeholders across business, operations, risk, compliance, and regulatory functions, you will help drive a strong risk culture while ensuring robust controls and governance frameworks are embedded throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead initiatives to strengthen the organization's control environment by identifying control gaps and implementing sustainable process improvements.
- Assess and review operational risk events, ensuring appropriate escalation, root cause analysis, and remediation activities are completed effectively.
- Deliver insightful risk and control reporting to senior management, providing actionable recommendations to support decision-making.
- Collaborate with business and functional stakeholders to enhance policies, procedures, and risk management frameworks.
- Promote a strong risk and controls culture by increasing risk awareness and driving accountability across the organization.
- Provide oversight and constructive challenge on projects, business change initiatives, and regulatory implementation programs.
- Support governance forums and contribute to operational risk management strategy and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor emerging risks and regulatory developments to ensure appropriate controls are maintained.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- 5+ years of experience within Financial Services, Operations, Operational Risk, Risk Management, Compliance, Controls, Audit, or related functions.
- Experience assessing operational risks, control effectiveness, and governance frameworks.
- Strong understanding of risk management principles, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience supporting business change, regulatory implementation, audit, or compliance initiatives.
- Experience preparing risk reporting and presenting findings to management stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
