Platform Engineer (Haken)

Seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to manage Kubernetes, Istio, and Mesos operations in a high-traffic, large-scale environment.

Roles/Responsibilities

• Provision and maintain nodes/clusters in a large-scale infrastructure.
• Handle alerts, incidents, and implement countermeasures.
• Perform OS and middleware updates, ensuring security compliance.
• Support migration from legacy platforms to a private cloud environment.
• Create operational documentation and obtain necessary approvals.

Required skills

• 3+ years of infrastructure management with production traffic (Linux, Kubernetes, Istio, Nginx, Mesos, Marathon).
• Experience with large-scale system operations (100+ servers) and troubleshooting.
• Strong commitment to system stability and meeting deadlines.

Preferred skills

• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or willingness to obtain within three months.
• Knowledge of networking, TCP/IP, and distributed systems.
• Ability to follow strict documentation and approval processes.
