Roles/Responsibilities
- Develop and execute IT strategies across multiple APAC markets, aligning with business objectives.
- Resolve critical IT challenges, optimizing systems and infrastructure across international units.
- Oversee cybersecurity initiatives and manage IT risk to protect assets.
- Coordinate IT governance and manage vendor relationships, including overseas partners.
- Lead IT functions for subsidiaries in Asia-Pacific.
Required skills
- Native level Japanese and fluency in English.
- 20+ years of experience in IT.
- 10+ years in IT or cybersecurity management, with at least 5 years at the Director level or higher.
- Expertise in system development, maintenance, operations, cybersecurity, and vendor management (including international vendors).
- Proven experience managing overseas teams and familiarity with Japanese corporate culture.
Preferred skills
- Experience in finance or leasing industries.
- CIO-level leadership experience.
- Global or APAC role expertise, with proficiency in other APAC languages.
- Broad technical background across infrastructure, applications, security, IT strategy, and vendor management.
- Proven involvement in Digital Transformation (DX) initiatives.
- Strong project management skills with a track record of leading large-scale projects.
