This is a senior client-facing role where you will drive new business acquisition and revenue growth, while managing key relationships with financial institutions. You will work closely with global teams and senior leadership, playing a critical role in shaping business strategy in Japan.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive new client acquisition and grow revenue across custody and securities services
- Manage and expand relationships with existing financial institution clients
- Develop and execute sales strategies based on market insights and opportunities
- Monitor service delivery and resolve operational issues to ensure high client satisfaction
- Collaborate with internal teams to implement solutions and optimise client processes
- Conduct KYC reviews and risk assessments for clients
- Prepare and deliver client presentations and market analysis
- Report key business updates to senior leadership
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- 7+ years of experience in relationship management within financial services
- Strong background in sales, client management, or business development
- Knowledge of banking, custody services, or post-trade operations
- Established network within the financial services industry in Japan
Soft Skills:
- Highly motivated and results-driven with strong ownership
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive business outcomes
- Leadership mindset with the ability to support and guide team members
Language Requirements:
- English: Business level
- Japanese: Native level
