Lead relationship coverage for Japanese financial institutions as a key strategic partner.
Originate and execute cross-product solutions across Global Markets, Fixed Income, Derivatives, M&A, FX, Trade Finance, and Bonds.
Collaborate with product, regional, and investment banking teams to deliver integrated client solutions.
Develop and execute account strategies aligned with revenue growth and client segment priorities.
Ensure compliance with internal policies, risk frameworks, and external regulations.
Act as senior liaison with Risk, Legal, and Operations to ensure smooth execution of deals.
Mentor and guide junior bankers, fostering the next generation of relationship managers.
15-20 years of front-office experience covering Japanese financial institutions.
Proven success in relationship management and cross-product origination for FI and NBFI clients.
Deep knowledge of Global Markets, Fixed Income, Derivatives, M&A, FX & Treasury, Trade Finance, and Bonds.
Strong understanding of transaction banking, capital markets, and financing solutions.
Solid credit analysis and risk management expertise.
Demonstrated ability to work across global teams and multiple stakeholders.
Japanese: Native level proficiency (required for client engagement).
English: Intermediate to business level (for internal and cross-border communication).
Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills in both Japanese and English.
Strong leadership, professionalism, and sound judgment in decision-making.
Analytical, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities under pressure.
Collaborative attitude and adaptability in a multicultural environment.
Experience covering Japanese megabanks, securities firms, or insurance companies at a senior level.
