You'll be instrumental in aligning people strategies with business goals, enabling cultural transformation, and delivering HR solutions in collaboration with domestic and global stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted partner to leadership, supporting business strategy through proactive HR planning and execution
- Build strong relationships across levels to deliver impactful HR programs
- Provide hands-on guidance for employees navigating HR policies and workplace dynamics
- Lead HR initiatives in performance management, talent development, and engagement
- Manage cross-functional HR projects from planning through implementation
- Serve in a specialized capacity (e.g., Compensation Lead) when needed, collaborating with global HR partners
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- 15+ years of HR experience, with 3+ years specifically in HRBP roles
- Proven track record in multinational, matrixed organizations
- Strong communication, analysis, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to navigate complexity and deliver practical, people-focused solutions
Soft Skills:
- Agile problem-solver with strategic vision and cross-functional influence
- Empathetic and proactive, able to lead with credibility in dynamic environments
- Comfortable balancing execution with long-term HR planning
Language Requirements
- Japanese: Native level
- English: Business or intermediate level
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Background in Centers of Excellence (COE) or Compensation & Benefits
- Experience leading teams or large-scale HR projects
- Established network within the HR and vendor ecosystem
