Role Overview:
The Retail Director will be responsible for overseeing and leading the retail operations for the luxury brand across Southeast Asia, driving growth, optimizing performance, and delivering exceptional customer experiences. They will play a key role in shaping the retail strategy, managing a high-performing team, and ensuring the brand's vision and objectives are executed effectively across multiple markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage retail operations across Southeast Asia, ensuring alignment with the company's strategy and objectives.
- Drive sales growth, profitability, and operational efficiency across all retail locations, consistently achieving business goals.
- Manage and mentor a team of retail managers and staff, fostering a high-performance culture and providing guidance to ensure team success.
- Develop and implement strategic retail plans tailored to the local market, ensuring relevance to consumer trends and preferences in Southeast Asia.
- Collaborate with marketing, merchandising, and product teams to create compelling customer experiences and effective retail campaigns.
- Conduct in-depth market and competitor analysis, leveraging insights to inform decision-making and identify opportunities for growth.
- Cultivate relationships with key external partners, stakeholders, and vendors to drive retail success and maintain brand consistency.
- Provide regular reports to senior management, offering insights and actionable recommendations for business improvement and growth.
- Champion the development of talent within the team, promoting learning and advancement to ensure a pipeline of future leaders.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in luxury retail or a related industry, with a proven ability to lead high-performance teams and drive sales growth.
- Strong understanding of Southeast Asia markets, including consumer behavior, trends, and regional retail dynamics.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders, manage large teams, and drive business growth through strategic analysis.
