Job Summary
You will be based in a school environment, where you will provide logistical support to various departments and provide administrative assistance as needed.
Responsibilities
Science Department
- Prepare materials and resources for activity-based lessons (e.g., setting up equipment for demonstrations and experiments).
- Maintain cleanliness and order in Science rooms (e.g., clearing setups after lessons).
- Maintain laboratory equipment, conduct stock-taking, and update inventory records.
Aesthetics Department
- Prepare art materials for P1 & P2 PAL Visual Art lessons (e.g., collating and organizing supplies).
- Conduct stock-taking of musical instruments and Aesthetics-related equipment.
General Administrative Support
- Provide front counter assistance during peak periods (e.g., recess and dismissal times).
- Assist with other general administrative duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum GCE O-Level certification.
- At least 3 years of relevant working experience in a school environment.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage time effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
Additional Details
- Work Location: Ang Mo Kio
- Working Hours: Monday to Thursday: 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM (inclusive of a 30-minute lunch break), Friday: 7:30 AM - 3:00 PM (inclusive of a 30-minute lunch break)
- Rest Days: No service required on Saturdays, Sundays, and gazetted public holidays.
- Contract Duration: 1 July 2025 - 30 June 2026 (12 months)
- Extension: Extension for a further 6 months is subject to the school's approval
