We are seeking an Automation Engineer to design, implement, and optimise automated systems for manufacturing processes. This role involves developing, testing, and validating automation solutions to ensure efficiency, quality, and compliance with regulatory standards.

Requirements
- Essential: Experience in developing and validating automation systems, including software and hardware components.
- Background in designing and integrating automated equipment, robotics, and control systems.
- Familiarity with PLC programming, SCADA systems, and control panel design.
- Experience as an Automation Engineer, Controls Engineer, or Systems Engineer in manufacturing.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills; collaborative team culture is critical.
- Ability to commute or relocate as required; candidates must provide a clear commuting plan.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement automation solutions to improve manufacturing processes.
- Develop, test, and validate automation systems, including writing and executing protocols.
- Troubleshoot and debug automated systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and integrate automation solutions.
- Manage automation projects, including vendor selection, specification development, and installation.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, safety, and regulatory standards in all automation activities.
- Provide technical support and training to maintenance and operations teams.
Qualifications
- Degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Proven experience with PLC programming, control systems, and industrial automation.
- Strong knowledge of equipment validation and commissioning in regulated industries.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Organised and able to manage multiple projects effectively.
