Job Title: Grade 3 Clerical Officer (Temporary)

Duration: 3 months with a view to extension

Are you an organised and detail-oriented individual with a passion for supporting healthcare services? We are seeking motivated and diligent Clerical Officers to join our team across various locations in Cork on a temporary basis.
About the Role:
As a Grade 3 Clerical Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our healthcare facilities. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing and organising patient files and medical documents
- Providing administrative support to healthcare professionals
- Assisting with data entry, patient record maintenance, and filing
- Handling incoming calls and correspondence, including patient enquiries
- Scheduling appointments and managing clinic calendars
- Interacting with patients and the public in a compassionate and professional manner
What We're Looking For:
The ideal candidate will be:
- Highly organised: You can efficiently manage multiple tasks with a strong attention to detail.
- A strong communicator: You can convey information clearly and empathetically, both verbally and in writing.
- Proficient in IT: You are comfortable using office software, particularly in a healthcare setting, with experience in systems such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- A team player: You collaborate effectively with colleagues and contribute positively to the healthcare environment.
Previous experience in a similar role, particularly within a healthcare setting, is advantageous but not essential. We value a positive attitude and a commitment to supporting patient care.
