    Maintenance Technician - Pharma Manufacturing (Cork)

    A global bio-pharmaceutical company, renowned for pioneering treatments in virology, oncology, and inflammation, is hiring a Maintenance Technician to join their cutting-edge manufacturing facility in Cork.

    This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a world-class GMP-regulated environment where science, purpose, and innovation intersect. You'll be part of a collaborative maintenance team, playing a key role in ensuring smooth operation of high-tech pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment and utilities.

    Duration: Min.18 Months (Review after 12 months with view to perm/extension)

    Location: Carrigtwohill, Manufacturing Facility

    Work Pattern: Days or shift available - Shift Pattern is 2 Days, 2 Nights, 4 Off

    Start Date: ASAP

    Rates: Shift Bonus 33%

    Current structure:

    • 2 techs on each shift
    • Supported by engineers + a reliability function

    Role & Responsibilities

    • Preventive & reactive maintenance
    • Troubleshooting and replacement of mechanical/electrical/pneumatic components
    • Use of CMMS, SOP creation/revision
    • Involvement in manufacturing area, with possible cross-training into utilities or packaging
    • All technicians trained in GMP standards

    Requirements

    • 3+ years experience in a maintenance role
    • Mechanical or Electrical trade cert (or Engineering degree)
    • Experience in GMP/pharma preferred
    • Pneumatic systems knowledge a plus
