Health & Safety Officer

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement health and safety policies, procedures, and programs.

Conduct regular risk assessments and site inspections to identify potential hazards.

Monitor compliance with occupational health and safety laws and internal policies.

Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses; report findings and recommend corrective actions.

Maintain accurate records of incidents, inspections, and safety training.

Deliver health and safety training to employees and management.

Ensure availability and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Coordinate emergency procedures and drills.

Liaise with regulatory bodies and participate in audits when required.

Continuously review and update safety policies in response to legislation and industry best practices.
Qualifications and Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.

Minimum of [2-5] years of experience in a health and safety role.

Certified Health and Safety Officer (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA certification) preferred.
