Job Title: Senior Management Accountant
Location: Cork
About the Role: Become an integral part of a diverse and expanding global organisation, where you will contribute to shaping the finance function and driving business performance. This role is centred around enhancing business processes, evaluating financial outcomes, identifying key drivers, and optimising operations through strategic analysis.
You will work closely with department leaders, offering advanced financial insights, performance reporting, and valuable support for decision-making in a dynamic and fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide financial and accounting advice to department leaders, ensuring compliance with internal and external guidelines.
- Develop and monitor performance metrics, producing complex reports on operational and financial KPIs.
- Support project managers by analysing project costs, ensuring budget compliance, and conducting financial forecasts.
- Manage and control the annual departmental budget, administering financial and operational data in relevant systems.
- Lead complex projects and analyses with significant business impact, making data-driven decisions and managing risk effectively.
Qualifications:
- Recognised Accounting qualification - ACCA, ACA, CPA, CIMA
- 4+ years' experience across practice & industry.
- A "Can-Do" attitude and results driven
- Knowledge of SAP and manufacturing experience is a distinct advantage
