Tax Accountant

A leading Irish company located in Cork city is seeking a skilled and experienced Tax Accountant to join their finance team. Reporting to the Tax Operational Lead, you will play a crucial role in managing and monitoring tax compliance across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and monitor tax compliance activities
• Prepare and submit various tax returns, including VAT, RCT, PSWT, PAYE, DCPL, and CT
• Provide tax advice and guidance to relevant stakeholders
• Liaise with tax authorities and internal teams
• Identify and mitigate tax risks
• Stay updated on tax legislation and regulations
• Contribute to the ongoing improvement of tax processes

Qualifications and Experience:

• AITI qualified with relevant experience
• Strong understanding of Irish tax law, particularly VAT, RCT, PSWT, CT, DCPL, and Payroll taxes
• Proficiency in ERP systems, especially Oracle
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
