We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Purchase to Pay Specialist to join our client's dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth and efficient processing of payments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain vendor records, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
- Generate and manage purchase orders, aligning with
- Monitor budgets against POs to optimise resource allocation.
- Identify and resolve issues related to rejected invoices, working closely with vendors to ensure timely payment.
- Proactively follow up with vendors to expedite invoice submissions.
- Understand and comply with relevant procurement, legal, and financial regulations and procedures.
- Identify, communicate, and resolve issues promptly and effectively.
- Serve as the lead for metrics analysis and reporting, leveraging various ERP systems.
- Maintain strong relationships with third-party vendors.
- Participate in business planning and budgeting processes, conducting analysis and meeting reporting requirements.
- Ensure team adherence to document management processes, including SOPs, job aids, flowcharts, and reference documents.
- Serve as a learning leader for the team, guiding new hires and trainers during onboarding.
- Oversee SOX and operational controls for the Finance and Business Support teams.
Qualifications and Skills:
- 2-3 years of experience in P2P or general accounting functions
- Associates degree or equivalent work experience
- SAP or Oracle Experience a distinct advantage
- Fluency in English
- Strong understanding of compliance-driven environments
- Ability to learn and adhere to regulatory requirements and internal policies
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Effective prioritisation and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a global team environment
- Experience with ERP systems and other relevant tools
