Our client, a global FMCG company are looking for a Commercial Finance Business Partner to support their Sales and Marketing teams with strategic financial insights and data-driven recommendations. This role is pivotal in forecasting, revenue management, and financial planning to drive business performance.
This is a 12 month contract, with view for perm, offering a competitive salary.
With offices in Dublin 18, they are operating with a hybrid working model (2 days onsite)
Responsibilities:
- Act as a financial partner to Sales and Marketing, offering insight and guidance for decision-making.
- Review and refine monthly forecasts before submission.
- Assist in developing financial plans for the Annual Operating Plan.
- Analyze financial trends, comparing current performance against past data to identify opportunities and risks.
- Ensure accurate Net Sales Value (NSV) reporting and implement effective trade spend management strategies.
- Apply revenue management policies to optimize pricing and customer mix while managing customer discounts efficiently.
- Develop financial models for new product development (NPD), innovation launches, and business initiatives.
- Strengthen collaboration across commercial functions, ensuring relevant and effective reporting.
Minimum requirements:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with 2+ years PQE.
- Ability to collaborate within cross-functional teams and projects.
- Strong communication skills
- Solid experience in commercial finance
- Knowledge of Revenue Growth Management (RGM), Trade Fund management, and analysis of pricing and promotional strategies would be a nice to have.
- SAP experience is highly advantageous.
