About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a firm renowned for its expertise in planning, environmental, and infrastructure law. The successful candidate will work on high-profile matters across a wide range of industries, including renewable energy, real estate, infrastructure, and commercial development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advising clients on all aspects of planning and environmental law, including development applications, planning appeals, and compliance issues.
- Supporting clients in navigating environmental regulations, climate action requirements, and sustainability strategies.
- Drafting and negotiating agreements related to planning permissions, environmental impact assessments, and statutory obligations.
- Representing clients before planning authorities, regulatory bodies, and, where necessary, the courts.
- Providing strategic legal advice to developers, public bodies, and multinational corporations on contentious and non-contentious planning and environmental matters.
What We're Looking For:
- 1.5-8 years PQE with experience in planning and/or environmental law.
- A solid understanding of Irish planning and environmental legislation, including the Planning and Development Act and relevant EU regulations.
- Exceptional drafting and negotiation skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build lasting client relationships.
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach to legal practice.
