Are you a seasoned Programme Manager ready to lead transformative projects in the transport sector? We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of PMO to oversee high-impact programmes that will shape the future of transport in Ireland.
Key Responsibilities:
- Programme Leadership: Deliver large-scale transport programmes aligned with strategic goals, budgets, and timelines.
- Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders, including government bodies and community groups.
- Strategic Planning: Develop detailed programme plans, addressing risks and ensuring seamless execution.
- Team Leadership: Mentor a team of project managers and technical experts, fostering innovation and collaboration.
- Budget Oversight: Manage programme budgets, ensuring financial accountability and efficient resource allocation.
- Reporting: Provide updates on progress, risks, and opportunities to senior leadership and stakeholders.
Key Requirements:
- 8+ years in programme management, ideally in the transport sector or similar fields.
- Proven ability to lead teams in a dynamic environment.
- Analytical and strategic mindset to drive programme success.
- Excellent communication skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Relevant certifications (PMP, PRINCE2) and familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies preferred
This is initially going to be a 12-month contract with a likelihood of extension. Excellent daily rate on offers which ranges depending on experience.
