Our client is a leading multinational with head offices based in Dublin. They have a new opening for an Internal Auditor to join their team on a permanent basis. The role offers excellent progression opportunities within the business as they continue to grow their operations across Ireland and internationally.
Main Responsibilities:
- Plan and conduct audits to assess risks, controls, and operational practices.
- Use data and analysis to inform audit processes and outcomes.
- Check adherence to policies, regulations, and procedures.
- Provide suggestions for enhancing compliance and operational effectiveness.
- Deliver concise and actionable audit findings to stakeholders.
- Monitor progress on implementing recommendations.
- Build positive relationships with internal teams.
- Participate in special projects and initiatives as needed.
- Contribute to the refinement of internal audit methods and risk assessments.
Requirements:
- Holding or working towards a professional accounting qualification (ACCA/ACA/CPA)
- Circa 3 years audit experience advisory in practice or industry
- FMCG experience highly desirable (either working with FMCG clients or in-house)
- Excellent communication skills
