Mortgage Manager | Permanent | Dublin | Hybrid (Flexible)
Our client is a growing financial services company and is seeking a Senior Mortgage Manager with a minimum of five years of team management experience,to grow their growing team.
Responsibilities:
- Previous experience in a fast-paced Financial Services brokerage.
- Strong technical knowledge of Mortgages.
- Responsible for the effective management of mortgage applications from loan offer through to funds issue.
- Develop MI tracking & reporting on the mortgage pipeline.
- Accurately review relevant documentation and update IT systems to reflect outstanding documents required for closing.
- Ensure all documents received are compliant and in line with policy and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with solicitors, brokers, customers, and third parties in relation to mortgage applications.
- Assist third parties with phone or email queries from internal and external customers (solicitors, brokers, customers & staff).
- Prepare accurate daily closing lists and issue progress reports.
- Liaise and follow up with Credit, Legal, Valuers, Solicitors, or any stakeholders for queries on cases that need to be actioned to ensure a smooth closing process.
- Ability to recognize issues and challenges and put forward suggestions or solutions.
Requirements:
- QFA qualified.
- Knowledge of WealthTrack would be a distinct advantage.
- Problem-solving mindset with the capability to embrace this position quickly.
- Fully proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of the mortgage process, mortgage operations, and a good grasp of the mortgage closing process.
- Up to five years' experience within a mortgage operations or legal environment.
- Relevant third-level qualification or professional equivalent.
- Knowledge of the mortgage process and retail banking products.
- Data/MI skills with the ability to create and design reports.
- Knowledge of CPC requirements and appreciation of all aspects of data protection.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills with an ability to engage with all levels in a confident and professional manner.
