We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Manager to lead and enhance an established quality function based in Dublin. In this standalone role, you will oversee and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance with regulatory and client standards across a multi product portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the implementation, monitoring, and improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with internal and external standards (e.g., ISO 9001, IEC).
- Lead and host the quality portion of ISO audits and carry out the preparation on lead up to audit, implementing pre audit actions.
- Conduct regular quality audits at all stages of production, including incoming materials, in-process checks and final inspections.
- Organising for the calibration of key production equipment such as tools and machinery with external vendors.
- Manage non-conformance investigations, leading root cause analyses and implementing corrective actions to be shared at toolbox talks.
- Create, maintain and control all quality-related documentation, including test records, compliance certificates, and inspection reports into the Document Management System and other relevant systems.
- Develop and deliver training modules and manuals for production teams to ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices.
- Update existing Standard Operating Procedure library and PFMEA's to drive execution across the business.
- Analyse quality performance metrics to identify strengths, trends, weaknesses, and improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to drive process enhancements and reduce variability.
- Working in conjunction with the engineering director and wider team to build an SOP relating to the design work that matches our process flow.
Requirements
- Study completed in areas of Quality Management, Engineering or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in quality assurance, preferably in highly regulated manufacturing or electrical engineering.
- Proven experience with electrical products but will consider relevant QA experience in a fast paced, highly regulated manufacturing environment.
- Qualification in ISO is desirable (9001, Auditor).
- Proficiency in quality tools such as FMEA, Root Cause Analysis, and statistical methods.
- Familiarity with compliance and documentation software (e.g., Procore, MS Office Suite).
